As we are weaving an optimum world of Health, Wealth and Joy for Ourselves and All That Is, our environmental policy is of great importance. Whilst this will evolve with our business, here are some salient points.

In physical terms, our spells are made of paper and textiles. The optimum magical material for us to use is hemp because of its positive impact on all five elements.

Paper - As yet, we have not found an effective hemp paper supply in Australia. The two products we have in hemp paper are the 'special occasion' version of the spellcards and hemp's story. This paper was sourced in Germany. The remainder of the paper products are made from 100% recycled Australian timber stock made by Spicer, a specialist paper company of high quality that donates money to Landcare Australia based on paper sales.

You'll see that that timber paper products are brighter and glossier than the hemp ones. This is because hemp paper is far more absorbent of ink. People have a preference as to each style - so it may be that we continue to do the timber paper offering as well as hemp ones longer term.

We have not celloglazed any of our products. Celloglazing is a synthetic chemical process used to create a water resistant coating on paper products. This would suffocate the magic. So, spellweavers, we ask you to care for your spells, and keep them out of puddles.

Textiles - Our first textile product is spelloracle's happy hemp home. This is made from 100% handwoven hemp from a village in Thailand. This has been sourced through a beautiful Byron Bay clothing company, called Kashi Australia, which specialises in hemp.

All products have been made in the Byron Shire, Australia.
